The objective of LAFA is to improve and refine player's skills, encourage sportsmanship, and develop an enjoyment for baseball and softball. LAFA is a volunteer run organization dependent on parent participation for successful operation.

 Winter Workout Program
At Play Ball Salem 
 
Play Ball is offering their annual winter workout program for Londonderry Youth Baseball.
This year there are 2 time slots to choose from…….see below for details.
 
This 10 week program will help the athletes prepare for the upcoming season by working on all the skills needed for aspiring baseball players. 
 
Throwing, fielding, hitting, positional play and all other key areas will be covered. 
 
Play Ball’s professional staff will once again facilitate the program.
 
- This year's program will be a progressive approach to teaching the players. Each week will progress with different advanced drills and skills

- Featured guest speaker" will discuss a "topic of the week" (hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, mental approach, sportsmanship, base running etc...). The guest list will include:

* Dean Borrelli (former 8-year pro player A’s and Rangers) 
* Al Mottram (Arizona Diamondbacks)
* Jeff Allison (former 1st round draft pick of the Florida Marlins…..8 year pro)
* Chris Carmain current professional player 
* Various other high school and college coaches/players

- The ballplayers will run through various drill stations, working on the skills needed to become an effective baseball player.

There are 2 time options to choose from (when signing up, please indicate the time slot you would prefer):
 
Little League: Ages 6-12
Saturdays January 14th - March 18th
Time slot #1: 9:30am-11am  or   Time slot #2: 3pm-4:30pm
 
Cost for the program: $125

Children must be 4 years old by April 30, 2017 to be eligible to participate (in kickball) and cannot be older than 15 years old (17 years olds for girls by January 1, 2016). Parent or legal Guardian must register applicants. All new applicants must have a copy of their birth certificate.
 
On-line Registration Is Open
LAFA provides on-line registration for returning players.  You can register for the 2017 season from the comfort of your home.  Please visit the LAFA web site (http://lafa.info) and look for "Register Online" on the left side menu bar.  Please contact LAFA by sending an e-mail to if you experience any problems registering your child.
 
Parents/Guardians of returning players do not need to attend any of the in-person registration sessions but are welcome to stop by if you want assistance with the online registration system.  We also encourage anyone interested in helping LAFA during the 2017 season to come down and say hello.
 
The fee for registration is $40.00 (for kickball), $70.00 (for 5-6 year olds), $80.00 (for 7-8 year olds) & $110.00 (for 9 years old and up), with a family maximum of $250.00.
 
LATE Registration will be held in the Lobby of the Middle School on Wednesday February 1,2017, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Registration will be on a first come basis.
 
ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST AFTER February 1, 2017.
 
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Operating a program of over 700 players requires the participation of everyone. Parents are required to assist for 3 to 4 hours of service. You will be asked to sign up or contribute a $20 opt-out fee.

The first sign that spring is on the way!  LAFA is excited to announce that online registration is available to all interested coaches.  The coach registration includes Baseball & Softball from T-Ball up to the Senior & Babe Ruth levels.

Anyone with a record in our system can complete the online registration now.  Please contact if you do not have a record in our system and we will be glad to get everything setup for you.

Coaches are critical to the success of all our programs.  We greatly appreciate your support of Baseball & Softball in Londonderry.

2017 Baseball Camp Presented by the Cooperstown Team

LAFA would like to announce our 2017 baseball camp to support the 2017 Cooperstown team.

Please go to www.LAFA.info and click on the Register Online link to pick 2017 Baseball Camp.

Baseball enthusiasts from ages 6-11 are eligible. Training will be provided by the Cooperstown coaching staff, including Ryan Kearney, a former player in the Cleveland Indians system.

$60 payment can be made online or via check to Post Office Box 697, Londonderry, NH 03053. Registrations will also be accepted at the door.

LAFA is a self-funded organization that provides the youth of Londonderry the opportunity to participate in organized baseball and softball. All equipment, uniforms, field maintenance and improvements are funded by team sponsorships, league registrations, individual donations and revenue from our concession stand
 

WE NEED YOUR HELP
To operate a program of over 600 players requires the participation of everyone.  We greatly appreciate everyone's participation!  Please contact the LAFA if you can contribute time towards improving our league.


Please remember that dogs are not permitted on Londonderry athletic fields while children are present.  We also respectfully request that people refrain from smoking at the LAFA field complex.

CARS THAT PARK IN AREAS THAT ARE DESIGNATED AS NO PARKING ZONES WILL BE TICKETED. THERE IS ALSO NO PARKING IN THE AMERICAN LEGION AND LIBRARY PARKING LOTS AND VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED.
